Synopsis:
Two little girls, Mei and Satsuki, move with their father to a large house in the countryside to be closer to the hospital where their mother is staying. They discover the existence of their new neighbors, invisible to other humans: marvelous but very discreet creatures: Grand Totoro, Medium Totoro (Chu-Totoro), and Little Totoro (Chibi-Totoro). With his round belly, Totoro is a rare and fascinating being, a spirit of the forest… He feeds on acorns and nuts. He can fly and travel in a "Catbus." He sleeps during the day, but on nights with a full moon, he likes to play magical ocarinas…
